DroneShield offers an enterprise-grade sensor fusion software engine with proprietary multi-sensor detection technologies that work together to detection drones. An example of these ‘best in class’ networked sensors is RadarZero which is custom built to detect small drones in three dimensions.

02. Analysis & Identification

DroneShield utilises a multi-sensor approach to analyse and identify incoming drone threats.

  • The radar sensor tracks a moving object, separating it from the background clutter such as trees or birds.
  • The radio frequency sensor provides a direction of bearing to the target, matching a set of RF signatures, which are regularly updated.
  • Camera and thermal sensors allow for a visual confirmation to the user, with an ability for high definition zoom during day or night.

This multi-sensor analysis allows to detect drones with high accuracy, delivering low false-alarm rates.

03. Monitoring & Alerting

Instant alerts are delivered independently through a variety of methods, including On-Screen Monitor, SMS, email, or existing video or incident management systems (API). DroneShield easily integrates into your established security system. Our detection system, ‘DroneShield Complete’ is a browser-based visual interface, giving you live visibility of surrounding drone activity.

04. Response

DroneShield also offers safe and highly effective countermeasures once a drone threat has been identified. DroneShield countermeasures allow for the controlled management of drone payload such as explosives, with no damage to common drone models or the surrounding environment. Countermeasures have been developed for long range coverage in a wide range of environmental conditions.

Application
The DroneGun MKIII is a compact, lightweightdrone countermeasure designed for one hand operation. Highly effective against a wide range of commercially available drone models, the DroneGun MKIII is capable of disrupting the control and navigation of multiple drones simultaneously.

DroneGun MKIII affects only frequencies at 2.4Ghz, 5.8Ghz, 433Mhz, 915Mhz and GPS/Glonass (optionally). Emergency broadcasts, cellphone communication and other dedicated channels will not be affected.

Application
DroneCannon RW™ module will force drones (single or swarm attack) into a fail-safe mode where they will either hover or slowly descend. This function will allow the operator to utilise a kinetic weapon or other mounted equipment to more easily neutralize the target. Included DroneShield jamming technology has been developed specifically for drone mitigation, offering an effective response to an urgent threat.

Application
The DroneGun Tactical is a fully integrated rifle style, safe countermeasure against a wide range of drone models. It’s design allows it to be highly portable and is capable of disrupting multiple RF frequency bands simultaneously.
